We reach out within two business days, scope their needs, and present a vetted shortlist. You get status updates at every milestone, so you always know where your referral stands.

When an engineer starts with the company you referred and the match clears the 90-day mark, we send you $1,000. Multiple companies referred means multiple rewards. No cap.

We only contact your referral about their hiring needs. You get a confirmation email now and updates as things progress.

The fine print

Program rules, in plain English.

  • Attribution: the first person to refer a company gets the credit. Your referral is locked to you for 12 months from submission.
  • Qualified referral: a company we are not already in active conversations with. We will tell you within a week if it is a duplicate.
  • Payout trigger: an engineer starts an engagement with the referred company and remains in place at day 91. We pay within 15 days of that date.
  • Payment method: bank transfer, PayPal, or a credit toward VitalHire services if you are also a client. Your pick.
  • Self-referrals: if you want engineers for your own team, that is not a referral, that is a discovery call. Book one and we will take great care of you.
  • Questions or status checks: email info@usevitalhire.com any time. Every referral is tracked in our system from the moment you submit.
